-20°CRictor, the rapamycin-insensitive complex, is part of the mTORC2 kinase complex which is responsible for phosphorylating the hydrophobic motif kinase of Akt/PKB. This complex also includes mTOR, mSin1 and mLST8/GL. mTORC2 is activated by growth factors and other mitogenic signals.||Applications:|Suitable for use in Western Blot and Immunoprecipitation.|Other applications not tested.||Recommended Dilutions:|Western Blot: detects Rictor on 10ug of HEK293 cell lysates|Immunoprecipitation: detects Rictor from 100ug of HEK293 cell lysates|Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.||Positive Control:|HEK293 cell lysate.||Storage and Stability:|Store product at 4°C if to be used immediately within two weeks. For long-term storage, aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing and store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable at -20°C for 12 months after receipt. Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. ||Note: Applications are based on unconjugated antibody.
