Lipid peroxidation, as an indicator of oxidative stress in cell and tissue, has been identified as a kind of cellular damage. Lipid peroxide is unstable and can break down into complex mixture including carbonyl compounds. Polyunsaturated fatty acid peroxide is decomposed in to Malondialdehyde (MDA) and 4-hydroxyl olefins (HAE). Detection of LPO, MDA and HAE has been an indicator of lipid peroxidation.

This kit can be used to measure LPO content of all kinds of animal serum, plasma, tissue and other samples.

Storage and Stability:
Store powder at 4°C liquid at -20°C. Store other components at 4°C. Stable for at least 6 months For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
