The Potassium BioAssay™ Kit is a turbidimetric assay for the detections of potassium in serum, plasma, milk, tissue and cells.

Test Principle:
In alkaline media, potassium ions in serum samples treated by protein precipitates can react with NA-TPB to generate turbid and stable suspensions. The turbidity is proportional to the potassium ion concentration in the sample.

0.01-0.8mmol/L

0.002mmol/L

Storage and Stability:
Store all components at 4°C. Stable for 6 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
