Tissue genomic DNAs are isolated from a wide variety of tissues. The genomic DNAs are isolated from tissues by proprietary modified guanidine thiocyanate techniques. The quality and purity of genomic DNA are tested by spectrophotometer and electrophoresis. A260/280 is between 1.8 and 2.0 (detected in 10mM Tris Cl, pH 7.5). Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 6 months after receipt at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
