-20°CChicken CD44 is a type I transmembrane glycoprotein expressed on many cell types, including B cells, most T cells, monocytes and some epithelial cells.1 CD44 primarily functions as an adhesion molecule. It has been implicated in various processes, such as hematopoiesis, lymphocyte homing, leukocyte activation, tumor metastasis and development.2,3||Applications:|• Flow cytometry 1|• Immunoprecipitation 1||Recommended Dilution:|Flow Cytometry: ≤ 0.2ug/10e6 cells|Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.||Storage and Stability:|May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. For long-term storage and to avoid repeated freezing and thawing, aliquot and add glycerol (40-50%). Store at -20°C or colder. Aliquots are stable for at least 6 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.||PE/CY5 combination conjugate is used as a third fluorochrome in multicolor flow cytometry applications when only a single 488nm excitation source is available. Antibodies are covalently coupled using heterobifunctional linking reagents, resulting in an optimal conjugation format for flow cytometry.
